Aikaterini Voulgari studied at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly (1991-1995).
She completed her postgraduate studies in the Programs “Studies in Education”, of the Hellenic Open University (2008), “Interdisciplinary Approaches to Historical, Archaeological and Anthropological Studies”, of the Department of History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology of the University of Thessaly (2012), “Creative Writing”, of the Pedagogical Department of Early Childhood Education of the University of Western Macedonia (2014), “Greek Linguistics and Literature”, of the Open University of Cyprus (2015).
She was awarded a doctorate by the Pedagogical Department of Special Education of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Thessaly (2009).
Her doctoral thesis, entitled “Developmental reading difficulties in Greek: A dual-route model approach”, was awarded the Kaytantzogleio Award of the School of Philosophy of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2012). She has attended the Specialization Program in Counseling and Orientation (P.E.S.Y.P.), of the School of Pedagogical and Technological Education (A.S.PAI.TE.).
She belongs to the permanent educational staff (in Greek: EDIP position/Laboratory Teaching Staff of Psychopedagogy) at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the University of Thessaly (Laboratory of Applied Psychological Research and Psychopedagogical Counseling).
She participates in the School Training Program and also teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has taken part in pan-Hellenic and international conferences, and in educational events for parents and teachers.
