Stella Tsermentseli is an Associate Professor specializing in Developmental Psychopathology & Cognition.

She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, while continuing her postgraduate studies at Brunel University, where she received her Master diploma in Special Education-Learning Disabilities and her PhD in Psychology.

She has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College London (2008-2011) and has taught as a Lecturer and Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Greenwich (2011-2020).

She has also taught at Royal Holloway University of London, the Open University and London South Bank University. Her work has been published in prestigious scientific journals and she has given numerous oral presentations at conferences in Greece and abroad.

She has participated in numerous research projects, the results of which have been presented at conferences and published in scientific journals in collaboration with colleagues from different countries.

She is a member of scientific societies, a reviewer in scientific journals and has experience in supervising bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral theses.

Her research interests focus on the cognitive processes that influence social and learning skills of children, especially those with developmental disorders and learning difficulties.
