Nikos Chaniotakis holds a PhD in School Pedagogy (Educational Evaluation), from the University of Crete and is a full Professor (“School Pedagogy and Extended Education”).

He has served as a teacher in Primary Education before coming to the University and has taught in numerous training programs and seminars for educators and parents.

His research interests include student assessment, homework practices, the use of humor in teaching, All-day School, informal and non-formal education and the practicum of university students.
