Konstantinos Sdrolias has a Bachelor’s degree in both Mathematics and Pedagogy and holds a PhD in Mathematics Education as well as a Master’s Degree in Organization and Management of Education.
He served in Primary Education for three decades and now serves as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff (L.T.S.) with the subject area “Teaching of Mathematical Concepts” at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education (P.D.P.E.) of the University of Thessaly.
His scientific activity is reflected in published work in books and scientific articles in Greek and international journals and conferences.
He has participated as an expert of the Mathematics Curriculum in Greece from 2011 to 2014, as External Evaluator of the Mathematics Curriculum in Cyprus and member of the writing team of approved school textbooks for vulnerable social groups (children of Roma origin).
His scientific interests focus on the teaching of mathematical concepts, the teaching tools and the framework that supports it (curricula, textbooks, teaching material), as well as on the educator who teaches mathematics.
